Why Should You Choose Us?

I have over 20 years of experience in residential building as a remodeling contractor and electrical contractor and hold North Carolina General Contractor License #11538.

In 1994, I was appointed to the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board and chaired the committee responsible for developing the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for all home inspectors in North Carolina. All of our work meets or exceeds those guidelines. I remained a member of the Licensure Board for seven years.

I'm an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, the premier national organization setting standards for our industry. In 1998 I was the President of the North Carolina Association of Home Inspectors and remain involved in the organization on both the local and state level.

I am a participant in the NEHA National Radon Proficiency Program, Analytical Radon Measurement Service Provider #100092RT, and have been certified as a Carbon Monoxide Analyst by the Building Performance Institute, Inc.

In addition to complete home inspections, bacteria testing for water purity and lead paint testing, I can also provide combustion safety evaluations and perform carbon monoxide and microscopic allergen surveys.

Most of my clients come by referrals from satisfied homebuyers, and from real estate professionals who understand that a well-informed buyer is, in the final analysis, the most satisfied buyer.
